Care Plans FAQ
A care package from Leicester Air Conditioning Services is a combined warranty and maintenance package designed to give you peace of mind after investing in your home comfort system. It provides ongoing support and optional additional coverage for your air conditioning unit, helping to protect against unexpected issues.
We offer a range of care plans to suit different needs and budgets, so you can choose the level of cover that’s right for you.
A care package is recommended after your air conditioning installation, but it is not a requirement.
As standard, Fujitsu systems come with a 7-year manufacturer’s warranty. However, this warranty remains valid only if the unit is serviced at least once a year by a qualified F-Gas registered engineer.
Our care packages are designed to take that responsibility off your hands. They help ensure your system stays covered, even if you prefer not to arrange annual servicing yourself, while also offering the option of additional protection for extra peace of mind.
Each package is flexible, allowing you to choose the level of cover that best suits your needs and budget.
Yes, all of our air conditioning systems come with a manufacturer’s warranty as standard. However, these warranties typically require the system to be serviced at least once a year to remain valid.
Our care packages are designed to simplify this for you. They provide an alternative level of cover through Leicester Air Conditioning Services, removing the need to follow strict manufacturer servicing conditions while still keeping your system protected.
This gives you added flexibility and peace of mind, with support that’s managed directly by us rather than being tied solely to manufacturer terms.
The best care plan depends on how much cover you want and the level of protection you feel comfortable with.
It’s a personal choice based on your budget and how much peace of mind you’re looking for.
Our Platinum plan is the most popular option, as it offers comprehensive coverage at a reasonable price, making it a great all-round choice for most customers.
If you’re unsure which plan is right for you, feel free to get in touch and we’ll talk you through the options to help you make the right decision.
While we recommend taking out a care package, it is not a requirement. You will still receive a manufacturer’s warranty with your system, provided you meet their conditions.
Much like a car warranty, most air conditioning manufacturers require your unit to be serviced at least once a year by a fully qualified F-Gas registered engineer to keep the warranty valid.
If you choose not to take out a care package, you can still book individual services with Leicester Air Conditioning Services as needed, at an additional cost to keep your manufacturer’s warranty active.
A care package simply offers a more convenient option, allowing you to spread the cost and ensure your servicing and cover are managed for you each year.
Our care packages are typically charged on a monthly basis to make the cost more manageable, allowing you to spread payments rather than paying a larger amount upfront.
This approach helps you maintain your cover and peace of mind with a simple, affordable monthly payment that is taken automatically.
If you would prefer to pay annually, that option is also available. However, most of our customers choose the convenience of a monthly plan.

You may cancel your care plan at any time by submitting written notice via email or by visiting PayPal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current monthly billing period in which notice is received.
Please note that no refunds will be issued for the most recent monthly payment or for any unused portion of the current billing period.
Once your plan is cancelled, all cover under the care package will end, and we will no longer provide warranty or servicing under that plan. Any remaining cover will then depend solely on the manufacturer’s warranty, provided all of their conditions have been met.
If a monthly payment is missed, your care plan may be suspended or cancelled. However, our system will notify you if a payment fails, giving you the opportunity to resolve it and keep your cover active.
Yes, you can take out a care package at a later date, provided your system has been properly maintained with regular servicing.
We typically recommend setting up a care package around one month after your installation. This is because your first year is already covered under our installation guarantee, so starting a plan after ensures you remain covered for the years that follow.
If you’re unsure whether your system is eligible, feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.

When signing up, please ensure you use the same name and email address that were used for your installation with us. This allows us to correctly match your care package to your system.
Labour cover refers to the cost of the time and work required to carry out a repair. For example, if your air conditioning unit breaks down, labour is the cost of the engineer diagnosing and fixing the issue.
Parts cover refers to the cost of any physical components that need to be replaced during the repair.
If your plan includes both labour and parts cover, any eligible repairs would be carried out at no additional cost. If you only have parts cover, you would still need to pay for the labour involved in completing the repair.
If replacement parts are no longer available, we will first look to provide a like-for-like replacement unit, provided your care plan is active and all payments are up to date.
If a full replacement is not required, we will always aim to source suitable alternative parts or carry out a repair wherever possible.
Our priority is to keep your system up and running with the most practical and cost-effective solution available.
We aim to carry out your annual site visit within each 12-month period of your care plan.
Due to demand and scheduling, your service may not take place on the exact anniversary of your installation or previous visit. However, we will ensure that your system is serviced at least once every year to keep it running efficiently and in line with any warranty requirements.
